Edelweiss Preparatory School
Edelweiss offers immersive Preschool, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs in Calgary.
We believe children learn best in a nurturing environment where their ideas are valued and curiosity is encouraged.
Our approach
Through a blend of structured curriculum and open-ended STEAM learning opportunities, our program has been designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and to help our students develop a greater sense of confidence.
Preschool
We believe that preschool is the place where children are most likely to develop a positive attitude toward school - establishing a connection between their early learning experience and how they will respond to and pursue, future educational endeavours.

Age Group:
For children turning 3 years by Dec 31st of their registration year, who can toilet independently and separate from their parent(s).
Jr Kindergarten
A yearlong learning adventure that will progressively challenge language and math experiences, these classes are designed to enrich both the mind and character of every child within an environment rich in Phonics, Art, Science, Math, Language instruction and self esteem building activities.
Class Options:
2 Day (Tue/Thur): PM
3 Day (Mon/Wed/Fri): AM or PM

For children who are 4 years by Dec 31st, of the year they are registered in.
Kindergarten
The Edelweiss Kindergarten program is well known for providing children with the tools they need for reading, writing and reasoning while enhancing independent thinking. We follow the current Alberta curriculum along with our own enriched program.The program is full of fun educational experiences to prepare children for Grade 1.
