With our community casino dates drawing near on June 8 and 9, I have been asked about the use of casino proceeds and how they benefit Cambrian Heights. The Provincial government, through Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), regulates how the casino proceeds may be utilized by the community.

With the new year we are pleased to announce a biweekly Winter Farmers Market building on the success of our 2025 Summer Market. This will take place in the Community Hall and will start coincidental with our annual Polar Party Saturday January 31 and run from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We will feature food vendors who participated in our Summer Market as well as new entries.

December brings a new season of snow and festive holiday cheer. Cambrian Heights continues to support two outdoor ice surfaces behind the Community Hall through the winter months

Cambrian Heights once again provided free pumpkins to residents and those in surrounding communities on October 25th. Another family event is planned for November with our annual Lego Contest scheduled November 15th.

October brings a change in the season and the bright colours of Fall displayed in our community and surrounding parks. We celebrate friends and families with Thanksgiving and the children get their fill of sweet treats on Halloween.

This summer’s Cambrian Heights Farmers Market at the Community Hall parking lot has once again been a great success. More residents from surrounding communities are enjoying the variety and freshness of food and beverages offered by over 20 vendors.
