Backyard Bounty
For more than 12 years, this local preserve maker has focused on doing things differently. Frustrated by how much sugar is typically added to jams and spreads, they set out to create products with less sugar and more real fruit, without compromising on flavour. Their products are available in select wholesale locations and five markets across Calgary.

Barn Burner Café Co.
Bringing the flavours of Patagonia to the local market, this family-run bakery shares traditional Chilean recipes passed down from their grandmother. From pastries filled with rich dulce de leche, known in Chile as manjar, to handcrafted empanadas, everything is made to reflect the authentic taste of home.

What began as a simple experiment quickly turned into something more. This chocolatier started making high quality, small batch hand crafted chocolates for friends, family and just because. Chococraft can be found at markets around Calgary or order online for home delivery.

This local producer is focused on doing one thing well: making honest, flavour-packed sausages and double smoked bacon from natural, locally sourced chicken and pork from Okotoks. Everything is made close to home and sold directly to customers online and at local farmers markets, including Cambrian Heights every two weeks throughout the winter and into the summer.

With limited gluten-free options and a growing demand, Karen began baking gluten-free bread for wine pairing classes. This soon led to Karen developing a core repertoire of cakes, crackers and biscuits, and eventually Grassland Gluten Free Baking. Find her artisan delights at markets across Calgary.

Find their products at the CHCA market and online throughout the year. You can even book a stay on their farm!

This local roaster brings together coffee and community in a way that feels personal. Sourcing beans from South and Central America, along with select regions in Africa such as Ethiopia and Papua New Guinea, they focus on direct trade and certified brokers to ensure quality and transparency. Every batch is roasted right here in town.

Lemonberry Pastries has been a local favourite for a decade. Making delectable treats and seasonal goodies, Lemonberry has been a part of many celebratory occasions. Lemonberry will be closing this chapter at the end of March. If you love their goods as much as us, be sure to visit them on their last market on March 28 at the Cambrian community hall.
